e46 m3 harman kardon playing up!

can anyone advise on where the possible connections are for the front speakers on my 2003 m3.they are crackling on and off all the time(the front ones)and it is driving me mad. they did it a few months ago and it seemed to go away but they have now started doing it again.i am certain it is a connection loose somewhere as its every time the car goes over a bump no matter how small, the front speakers go on and off.
does anyone know roughly where the connections are so i can check all the connector blocks are in properly.if it goes to the dealer it will be one of those things they elaborate on to drum up some work so i would rather investigate myself

Connectors are on the speakers themselves, the door->body interface, then I think you just have a loom all the way to the amp in the boot.

TBH if its more than 1 speaker I'd look at the connection to the amp as the most likely (take out nearside boot covering to get unfettled access)

It could be the amp is dying though, or that you have damaged speakers - really depends on exactly what happens as to what the cause it.
