I´m not shure what to think about this advert.

If you can I would wait to buy a SAG there are 15 for sale on this site alone. Considering how rare they are this is a lot. I expect prices to drop in the New year as car dealers try to get shut of cars that have been sat around for a while. As car dealers find it increasinly difficult to borrow money they wont be able to have £££££ of stock sat there doing nothing!!. They have been over priced for a year now, time has come for a big drop in prices. Those looking to buy next year are in for a treat methinks :-)

Oat$y, thanks for you insight into the car market I'm sure your crystal ball is as good as anyone elses, I'm also sure that a good many of the 15 on PH are already sold. The OP may be less shortsighted however, and be considering the strength of the euro at the moment.

The advert is an honest advert.

The car has been sprinted (a sprint is one car at a time against the clock on a closed road or circuit section) and has done track days. It has however probably spent more time being polished or serviced to death by the best TVR workshop in the UK.

It won the concours award at the BNG for the best current model in 2007 (his wife's car won the overall award for best in show).

It had a huge service in December last year and anything that was needed was done. A new clutch was fitted at the same time the master cylinder was changed even though the old one was in good condition. Since the service, it has covered 120 miles.

It has always been warmed up correctly, never laboured, and never ragged. Its owner is mechanically sympathetic beyond what is considered normal.

Rarely used when wet, the chassis was polished at the service. The car is better than it left the factory.

The owner is a TVR enthuiast and has owned TVRs for over 30 years. He is selling it - after much soul searching, as he has taken up circuit racing. He has 8 other cars apart from the Sagaris and would rather it was enjoyed by a fellow enthusiast rather than sitting in his garage taking up valuable space he should sensibaly give to his race car.

If you want to know more speak with Tony at the dealership, I'm sure he will put your mind at rest with regards to how the car was looked after from them supplying it when new. The car is on SOR so its not eating any of the dealers money at the moment!

In fact, we thought about buying it but were worried we wouldn't be able to look after it in the manner to which it has become accustomed!

I have known this Sagaris since new & it's owner, it is exactly what it says on the advert 'Special Sag!'.

Additionally, the car has been meticulously maintained, enthusiast owned in every way & is as new if not better with the enhanced spec.

If I was looking to buy another Sagaris that particular car would be the one I would buy without question.

I echo everthing said above. This Sag really is a special one! The owner really is maticulous and knows how to drive and look after a TVR of any variety. I would not hesitate buying any car from him. Unfortunately I already have 3 so have no room for another Sorry John

Don't know what your budget is but if I hadn't have just bought mine this one would have been right at the top of my list to view (along with Targaramas red glow pearl) as spectraflair silver is my fave colour;

That's a good price and a good car but I'm not a fan of Silver cars. I've seen a spectraflair T350 in the flesh and it was very nice but I have a thing about silver cars because two thirds of the cars on the road are silver at the moment.
I'm just sick of that colour.

The 'orange one' was my old car. It was the only one to have a factory fitted Sagaris fuel filler and to my knowledge the only one in Arancio Atlas. It was the very last car to be worked on by the works service dept prior to D.O. closing the doors before we hit the Red Lion for a pint. It was impeccably run in and was Nicolais cousins car for 6 months. I have pictures of it if you want them mailing. It did need stone chips sorting on front last time I saw it, but if they were done its worth a flight! I would have it back, but I have a GTR on order.

I don't want to make this thread seem like a JS fan club but his Sagaris is a peach. The only other car that is on par or maybe even better is Grahams (VARLEYHYD) but he is a proper anorak.

Personally I think Johns Sagaris is fairly priced considering its aftercare treatment and history.
