Chassis on Vixens were originally 16G 1.5 inch ERW mild steel.

All chassis of same material on all Vixen / griffith derivatives. On griffiths the suspension mounting bracketry was increased in thickness for strength.

You could use some 14G as per later M but strength doesn't increase much, weight on other hand does.

A road car that you want to last longer could be made in 14G.
