It's not normal, and would explain why the battery has gone flat!

Hello bud. Upload your pictures to a hosting site like photobucket, right click and copy the url from the properties, and finally paste between [pic] and [/pic]

If you don't have an account with a pic hosting website, feel free to e-mail (address in my profile) your pics to me and i'll upload them for you.

Here are the pics from PH calssifieds.

I don't know about the electrics in your kit. The builder may have had his own method of wiring it rather than the usual way.

The machines that I work on have illuminate a alarm light to indicate that the oil pressure switch has not be actuated. The 2 lights on your dash may just be because the engine isn't running, but it is strange why they are illuminating wuth the ignition off.

Perhaps after charging (or replacing the battery if required), the battery light AND oil light will go off. If not, you'll have to run the wires via the ignition, rather than straight from the battery.

A great little roadster, and I've heard very nice comments on its handling being great in this front wheel drive kitcar.
It's still being made by Stingray Motorsport:

Have fun and enjoy your new toy.......smile

Cheers
