Can anyone tell me whether the handbrake cable for a V8S or a S4 is the standard sierra cable or a sierra cable that has been shortened?

I'm sure I read that it is very much shortened. The rear axle on an S is right behind your seat - on a Sierra you have another whole row of seats in between!

To be honest I didn't really think they would be standard length.

Does anyone know what length the shortened cables are, are they sourced through the normal TVR spares agents?

They seem pretty expensive through the normal channels!

I can't find a clear pic of the handbrake cable detail - but look at this and as has been said imagine another row of seats - its seriously shorter.
If you need me to do anything let me know - the body may be back on in a week or two (honest guv).
If you're really struggling and can't get one and I'm feeling really generous I could take it off and get it over to a local(ish) manufacturer if you're really stuck.

Any idea if the V8S cable is the same as the one for the griff or the chimaera?

Im sure thats its different as TVR car parts accidently sent me the wrong one - a V8S, they maybe able to confirm if you ring them (Neil) the cost was £42 so fairly cheap cmpared to other sellers.
