His true colours are coming out here. Can't wait until the CO2 capping takes effect on high performance vehicles. It may sound way out now but I'm sure the idea of industries being capped on output, due to emissions, sounded a bit far fetched 10 years ago.

Very true - I was speaking to a taxi driver in NYC a few years ago and he was saying that his 2 litre Toyota Camry did loads more mpg and was faster than his cab - a 5 litre V8 Crown Victoria.Besides, fast cars should be light and nimble anyway, my Caterham will do 40mpg on a cruise...
Agree about the weight of cars - my 2 seater weighs (iirc) 1920kg which is bloody ridiculous.
