Anyone Want Their Car A *Bit* Louder?

Morning All,

I'm toying with the idea of getting rid of my exhaust......it's from Peninula - s/s with the V8 style tailpipe arrangement. Without wishing to sound like a total Southerner - it's just that little bit too in-yer-face but does give a bit of extra clearance apparently.

If anyone would like to swap for a more "sedate" s/s arrangement, perhaps send me a PM. Obviously, it would be useful if you didn't live a million miles from Poole.

Neil it might be a cheaper option to have your existing exhaust modified - presumably some fiddling with the exhaust box and changing the internal arrangement of wadding (if there is any!) & pipes might get you to where you want to be. I don't think the wider V8 style tailpipes have any significance on noise levels.
Might be worth a word with Peninsula.

Thanks Chris, there's some useful advice in the Bible too. It just needs a little moderating perhaps with a muffler of some desription. Don't get me wrong - it sounds awesome at 5000rpm, but you can't drive everywhere in that manner................
