Hi,

I have bought myself a fisher fury a few weeks ago.

I had problems with the fuelling so took it along to Gerald Dale Motorsports. He has tuned the carbs so im now producing 180bhp@6860rpm from memory. (1.8 Zetec). While the car was there I asked Gerald to change the fuel filters the main in line filter was very dirty and when I cut it open there was a silty deposit in it. He recommended that I clean the fuel tank.

The car had stood for 4 years before I bought it.

2 questions

How do I remove the rear fibreglass body panel.I have a 9.5 gal tank so it wont drop straight out.

What do I use to clean the tank out with.

Thanks

Furyous

A lot of Fury's have the whole rear tub bonded to the boot floor section, so this makes fuel tank access nigh on impossible.

All the racers make the rear tub fully removeable for this reason.
