Yes, I do. In fact it's my 3rd in the last 10 years. Went to see another one today - a 01 Tuscan S with a recent engine rebuild and 2 years warranty. Could have been mine for under £12k, but there was something not quite right about it. And as I say, just now there is plenty of choice in this field.

Let me guess, you've got one that you thought was worth a lot than it would actually sell for if you needed it?

In that case I apologise for my comment Like you say above though, you could of had that Tuscan for under 12K but it wasn't quite right. Its those cars that are going cheep. The straight cars are going for more reasonable money.

And, no, I'm not selling my Tivs. They stand me nothing and I have a very good idea how much they are worth

Still strikes me as odd how many people just don't get it. Tamoras and T350s have always been cheap for what you get - even when new. Nothing for under £20k can touch one for performance, exclusivity, fun factor etc.

A £15k Tamora is cheap because it might very well need a £5k engine rebuild sometime soon. And now the bargain hunters are knocking the cheap cars by the same amount. Hell, I'd be tempted by an £11k Tamora just in case I need a spare when my Speed Six blows up.

If you can't afford £15k for something little short of a supercar, maybe you can't afford the running costs either.

Tamoras and T350s. Soon to be seen smoking their way round McDonald's car parks and council estates alongside tired old Cossies and Imprezas. Or maybe they'll all end up as parts donors for all the high-priced Saggys...

I was musing about buying a Cat D repaired Tam for around £8k, and wondered what my backstop was if it were a total dog, and not worth repairing - various exotic breakers quoted me a value of around £3k - £4k for the car as a taxed and MOT'd runner.

A repaired Cat D Tam for £8k? Where? I'm not doubting it, but I seriously would be tempted to buy a spare for that money.

And as for £3k for one with T&T, who'd sell for so little? That's MX-5 money. Would make a nice engine and chassis combo to slap a classic bodyshell onto, though.

If you read the Ad, its listed as cat B - suitable for breaking only. You CANNOT put this car back on the road - funny as the damage doesn't actually look loo bad...

On a seperate note, not that I need it, but if anyone thinking about selling / giving their Tamoras away for £8k, please give me a shout as I'll gladly buy them all day long for that money

It is indedd - its's still there being collected next week after the fitting of a complete new custom built system.

The car is huge fun, has loads of history and will keep me poor for years to come I'm sure.

It returned to racing after a 20 year gap this year and managed 5 podiums from 6 starts.
