Good lad Sarge. He has done his thing, shown up the sillyness of it all, had his laugh and left on his terms. The Beeb are left with egg on their face, the judges looking like daft whingers and the public who were in on the joke having had their fun.
SCD might not be everyone's idea of fun, but it satisfies the Light Entertainment angle very well. For some reason it seems that a few ppl around these parts think that only shows that appeal to them or "intellectual" and "intelligent" shows should be broadcast. Well that would be pretty damn dull in my book, so long live a variety of Light Entertainment shows.
