I have a HUGE problem with my local Tesco Express that is part of an Esso garage. After my latest encounter with them I have decided to complain and, considering my beef is with several members of staff including the manager, how do I complain to Tesco directly? I couldn't find a decent email address on their site?

I find a letter to someone high up in the organisation normally works. Make sure it's signed for delivery or they usually bin the letter.

A number of things over the past month including the absolute rudest staff I have ever encountered. And I am not just talking a little bit rude, people that literally don't say a word and then stick their hand out when asking for the money. They never have anything priced correctly, the store is always a complete mess amongst other things.

The only reason I now use it is because it is at the bottom of my road, so handy for filling up the car. When queueing to pay for my petrol I noticed they had 4 cans of Carling for £2.99 and I thought I might as well pick them up as the England match is on later. When I got to the till I was asked for £55.51 instead of £54.99. I pointed out the Carling should be £2.99. After much grunting someone checked the price and realised. I then got asked for fkING I.D! I asked her why she was doing this now when she had already agreed to sell me the beer in the first place by asking for the money. She said she always asked for money before she I.D'd anybody.

I politely pointed out that I clearly look older than 21 and asked her how many under 18's she knew that drove an M5? She wouldn't budge so, out of principle, I left my car on the forecourt, walked home (1 min walk), got my I.D, came back and went to pay. By the time I had gotten back, they had swapped the prices up to £3.50!!!!! Now, I realise that I have been outdone by a bunch of mongs that work in Tesco, but it is the straw that has broke the camels back hence why I am now going to catalogue all my complaints about the store.

Just to add - I don't normally complain but these guys are s.

how do you get to have a HUGE problem with your local corner shop?

Even if staff took to routinely setting fire to customers at mine I think id describe it as a minor problem, because (and this may shock you) you can shop somewhere else

See above, I do usually go elsewhere but for petrol it's handy. I don't expect anything to come of the complaint, I just think Tesco should know JUST how bad this store is. My feelings are not alone either, several people I talk to in the local constantly complain about the store in question.

I ended up going to the local Pakistani convenience mart and picked myself up 6 Holsten Pils for £5 in the end - I just thought that under £1 a can was too good to pass up and, according to advertising, Carling uses 100% British Barley so I was merely supporting the UK Economy in these dark times hehe

You sound a bit highly strung, don't you realise that it's your own personality that is causing the problem? As if a Tesco Express girl would give a flying fk whether you have an M5 or not.

Carling tastes like the smell of horses piss, therefore it must taste the same.

No problem with the M5 cool
