Someone in my office has just been saying that there was more to the 'Road Rage' murder than meets the eye.
He says all of the people involved (Noye, the murder victim and the victims GF) were involved in a major drug trafficking/dealing ring.
He said the reason the victims GF was given a new identity was not 'cos she grassed up Noye for the Murder, but 'cos she blew the lid on the drugs ring and was offered immunity from prosecution if she sang.
Noye used to live by this guy in my office so he has had dealings with himin the past, though Im not sure if there's much truth to what he's saying now.
Has anyone heard this before, or is it all bullst?

"Among other incidents, Noye has also been the subject of an Anglo-American police investigation into drug running."

Ive never heard it before, but there was a little part of me which thought "he was a dodgy character, maybe there's some truth in it"

I've always thought there was more to it than we've been told.

For instance, the chap who died was from Essex, they were supposedly on their way to get bagels from Brick Lane. Who drives over the Dartford Bridge and then down to the M20 to get from Essex to Brick Lane, it's hardly the scenic route.

The guy in the office actually drew me a map pinpointing the houses, and the turn-offs they would have taken....doesnt make any sense...

That's not your fault, perhaps he's just crap at drawing maps.

I don't think it goes as far as your pal says, however I do believe that the guy in the van who was stabbed was no angel - I believe his van had been under surveillance for a while before the incident. He was also the instigator of the fight with Noye. Possibly Noye knew the guy, or was aware of him, and thought that he was being attacked in a serious way ?

The chap from Essex was meant to be an innocent victim, there aren't many in Essex who are innocent of anything.

You've got to assume that Noye was a clever bloke, so why would he get involved in a stupid road rage incident, I don't think that he a psycho who would flip that easily. I believe he was here on a bit of business and really trying to keep a low profile.

I have no idea but I'm waiting for the "Kenneth Noye escapes from prison" story which will no doubt occur in time. There's no way he'll see out the full term.

I've heard the rumours as well and have no reason not to believe them.

Apparantly the victim started to tread on someones toes..........

There is always some conspiracy theory about everything....

Have read a few things about KN and how he worked his way up the ranks of the criminal ladder.Involved in some pretty serious stuff - so it is alleged.
And he caught for something relatively trivial - considering his alleged dealings.

I grew up at secondary school with Stevie Cam' - Had not seen him for a few years when this had happened. At the time he hardly seemed like the type of kid who could grow up to be involved in an international drugs ring...

Stephen Cameron (the guy Noye killed)had connections in Essex and was known to have been to Rachel's on a number of occasions. This means it would be likely he would know Tate, Tucker and Rolfe.
Have never read any more about his involvement in big time drug dealing

Remember Noye also got off with killing a policeman during a raid on his house, got off with a self defence plea.
After the road rage incident, he immediately had the Range Rover crushed.
Initially he denied the incident but then change his statement to say he was only showing the knife to frighten off Cameron but then was afraid Cameron was going to take it off him and use it on him.
Police also wanted to interview him for the murder of John Marshall.

I guess this is one that people will always speculate on
I knew anout the copper he killed, and have heard of/seen the films Tucker, Rolfe and Tate.
But who was John Marshall?

Can this be expanded upon further? Mere speculation of course...

SC's parents Toni and Ken were really nice people on the few occasions I met them...

I first met SC at secondary school until he left at the start of 6th form.
He was an OK bloke, but he was not the sharpest tool in the box.

Suppose people do change over time or get influenced by people or other things.

He was a car dealer killed (shot twice in the head) in, I think, 1996.

Spent some time at the crime scene in Sydenham where his body was found in the boot of a Range Rover.

He was not a nice man. So it would seem.
