Bit of a weird one this, but I was thinking about it the other day when I went through Abergavenny.

I have never stepped foot into Waitrose... ever. I don't think I've ever lived near one, so the opportunity hasn't arisen. I drive past the one in Abergavenny occasionally when I'm out hooning, but it's the only one I know of.

I'd like to say Top Man or something, alas when I was younger I bought the odd item in there...

Aldi, Iceland or Lidl.
And I've never tried Sunny Delight either.

For a supermarket it is good, not excellent though.

I have a fear of going into Burtons, no idea where it came from, the last time I went in there was about 5 years ago to buy a tie (for bar work, needed a cheap one), now I can't go past the evil brown sign without feeling a little ill.... I will never go in there again!

Same here, although I haven't been actively avoiding it. 'Chicken Tika Lasagne' suggests I probably should be though hurl

And that's why mum's gone to rehab

I have been to the Metro Centre in Gateshead for the cinema and had a wonder around, but have not been in one single shop under it's roof.

It's st in my opinion, with st shops, st parking and full of charvas.

Me too. I see enough of their crap around friends' places to know that there'll be nothing I need in the store.

I shall take you to my butchers, my fishmongers, the bakery and the fruit and veg stall market I go to.

There are lots of shops I avoid, in fact most. I have been dragged to several, couldn't name what they were called.
