Hi guys im not actually an Audi of VW owner but just wanted to know some info about the R32

Today as i pulled up at the traffic lights i let a R32 pull out infront of me. I looked at the car and noticed it wasnt standard, could see the massive vented dics and larger exhaust pipes, + it sounded quite nice pulling off aswell.

As we got to the country lane the guy in the R32 just decked it as fast as he could i was surprised at how fast it pulled off, now i own a Monaro and know the potential when supercharged etc.

What sort of BHP etc can you get out of an R32 with either s/c or turbo.

Just interested to see what can be done.

Many thanks guys

I would say a basic super/turbocharged R32 would be running a minimum of 320BHP but as per the previous post they can run much much more.

yep 500+ is possible from a big turbo conversion. There are a couple of companies in the UK - storm developments / Stealth racing / G Werks who carry out conversions on R32s. In Germany and America R32 tuning is more popular and there are a couple of 600+ hp ones which must be into supercar territory.

There is a great video on youtube of a guy in a bmw Z4M trying to encourage i guy in a R32 to race - turns out the R32 has as Bi-Turbo conversion an makes the bmw look like its stalled haha.

Surely major engine rebuilding is required in order to get to that kind of power? Let alone the drivetrain/gearbox.
