Anyone played that yet ?

I've been driving around in the blue Nissan for a while now and doing some races but can't say that i'm too impressed with it.

Missing the option to just cruise without a mission to do and i'd like to drive those police cruisers myself for change.

This game is like every parents evening comment ive ever had.

"has the potential to do very well, but could try harder"

+1 frown As soon as any action appears on the screen it does have the tendancy to skip and jump. But all can be forgiven seeing as you can buy an Escort RS Cosworth biggrin

Think they may have just got one of the old PS2 games and reboxed it!
Found the last one quite entertaining so decided to purchase this one, but am very dissapointed!
The physics and gameplay are really poor, give me forza 2 or gt5 anyday.

The last few NFS games that have had me playing them for ages were:

NFS: most wanted on PS2
NFS: Underground 1 & 2

But my favourite was NFS: Hot Pursuit 2. That was a truly stunning game I thought. Had all the exotica, cops chasing you, nice open roads with brilliantly detailed scenery.

I wish they'd make another. It was terrific.

I'm their last 3 or 4 games have pretty much been EXACTLY the same.

I also thought HP 2 was the best NFS game ever. They need to make it with a realistic free roaming map (not all shiny and so much HDR all you can see is HDR) and modern cars, and it'd be fantastic.

I bought this for the Pc after reading about the performance issues with the PS3 & XBOX360 versions.
Runs ok for me with no stuttering using a 8800GT but I had to turn down the anti-aliasing and textures.

Initially I was very disapointed with the game but the more I played the more I started to enjoy it.
I did enjoy Pro Street and have bought Carbon and Most Wanted to play once I finish Undercover.

One challenge that I keep getting busted on is delivering the stolen car to the cop shop and outrunning them. Anyone got any tips?

Last NFS game I really enjoyed was Porsche 2000 (or Unleashed depending on where you're from), played that one for absolutely ages. I only played the PC version of HP2 but the PS2 version was meant to be the best as it was made by a different company.

Agreed. Midnight CLub: LA for me also. £20 from Play.com, half the price of NFS

I played for less than 5 mins before vowing to never touch it (and likely anything NFS) again.
Probably in the top 10 worst games I have ever played.

The adverts on TV seem to be doing a crap job of making me want to play it, the appalling frame rate is evident even when they're showing the game at its best.
