I was under the illusion that I had fixed the strange noise coming from the passenger door mirror ? It happened the other day travelling around 80 mph, there was a bit of a gust of wind (outside the car)then that dam screech started again. The thing is I really cant see how the air is causing such a racket...any ideas............

Is the passengers window "tightly" shut?

Simple, don't exceed the legal speed limit

I got a slight flapping noise from my car at motorway speeds with the window open, however I hadn't took my eyes off the road to see if it's the seat belt or not.

I don't know what this sounds like, but wind noise on my driver's door was easy to adjust out. The vertical plastic strip and the door had too much gap. 5 min job. You can check it with a piece of paper or thin card.

beat me to it, most common cause of wind noise if you believe some of the forums - more of Holden/HSV Friday afternoon approach to build quality
