ford focus tdci engine probs

im defecting to the ford page.. i have a monaro, but recently bought a focus diesel tdci.. it has a few problems.. firstly the managment light on and wont idle, it also misfires, and theres smoke coming out the dipstick.. any answers appreciated chaps....

Take it back where you bought it?

Is the crankcase breather pipe loose?

you can do a self diagnostic check on the focus, no need to pay the garage, if you hold down the trip button, turn key to ign 2, keep trip button pressed down, it will put the dash into test mode, after all the dials have maxed out and reset themselves keep pushing the trip button until you see dtc come up in the mileage box, it will flash dtc and then a code, then just search the web for focus codes, i just google it,
