I think that at the bottom of the forum there should be the option to visit pages in a certain range (eg pp1-10, 11-20) etc, rather than having to click 'next' to skip one page at a time! very frustrating

Hi Smith !
You can move to any desired page in a thread
by typing the page number in the little box that lists the current page number.

yes, I am referring to the bottom of the main forum, eg when I went into the 'website feedback' forum, at the bottom it says 'page 1 of 319', and there's only a 'next' link beside it, so how would I get to, eg. page 200?

We will add in the same box mechanism as the post pages soon to solve this problem. Hope this helps.

I've managed to find a temporary solution, if you look at the url, at the end of the url when I'm on page 2 of this forum, it says "&i=20", so to get to the page number you want, multiply the number before by 20 then enter it after the "&i=" part, eg if you want to go to page 100, you would multiply 99 by 20, then put the answer at the end of the "&i=" part, in this case the end of the url would read "&i=1980"

Just do as Benni suggested.

The box at the bottom of the page that states the current page number, type in the page number you want to go to and hit return.

Read the whole thread - that box only exists on the thread pages, not the forum index page.

I consider myself chastised.
