The paint code should be on your VIN plate under the bonnet and it's described as 'Body Code'
However these are the three different codes for OEW from the .xls sheet on the TVRCC site

OLD ENGLISH WHITE 9JL6B 2K
OLD ENGLISH WHITE 8462 2K
OLD ENGLISH WHITE XJN5 2K

2K refers to Nexa2k who I beileve were the supplier.

Isn't 2K just an abbreviation for 2-pack paint?

No it's the name of the company/brand, used to be ICI.

Your question asked if 2K was an abbreviation for two pack.
I didn't say it wasn't two-pack but it is the name of the product biggrin

I knew the answer, I asked the question hoping the coin might have dropped as you obviously didn't know that biggrin

2K isn't the name/make/brand of product, it is a type of paint in the same way cellulose is.

I have always thought of 2k as 2 pack but ici/nexa basecoat is called 2k and 2k is their trademark. so sorry v8 is right.

Well, if that's the case I stand corrected and appologise to anyone that will listen smile

I spent a week at Berger's factory on a product range training week (pi55 up involving spray guns). They referred to any two pack product they did as 2K.
