New Doctor Who leaked by BBC News?

[mr_fibuli]

Was watching News 24 tonight, and they had a live interview with some actor guy, asking him about his new drama series. He was listing his fellow cast and then said rather matter of factly "...and Paterson Joseph, the new Doctor Wh..." Then a look of panic as he realised his mistake and corrected himself "...POTENTIAL new Doctor Who".

Read about that in the paper (Patterson Joseph). He's a great actor, and was hilarious in Peep Show. Would be an interesting choice.

He's been in Doctor Who already, has happenend before that an actor previously seen in a minor role - in this case Paterson Joseph played Roderick in Bad Wolf - could be repeated (Freema was in "Army of Ghosts")

How can a man who has proved time and time again that he cannot win 'Numberwang' possibly be expected to control a complex time machine?
