Hi All,

Anyone know what the boot struts are for the wedge?

Remember mine is one of the sexy ones without a spoiler so not too heavy...!!!

I bought TVR car parts ones for the bonnet a while ago with the adjustable pressure, lovely strut but expensive!

Cheers all!

The last ones were new so max pressure, they lift the lid when the catch is opened but they have been on for two years and no probs.before that I used ones out of the breakers, same application just a bit less pressure than new.Tempus smile

Matt - if you use the Range rover item..

It will probably put you light boot lid into orbit next to the space station..

Carob recently asked the same question and found them cheaply..

Sounds interesting Steve, who makes them & how much would they be?
I don't really need the bonnet ones but my boot struts are quite tired. Which makes it a pain to click the button but reach around to the boot to open it.
Having a whacking great spoiler probably doesn't help.

Thanks all for your help...

Tried to go the range rover route and had no luck! All the garages/auto factors i called thought i was talking a funny language!

Got a pair from SGS, £45 for a pair delivered - not bad i feel!

PS - Spoiler nakedness rules!!!!!!! hehe

Same place that the boot ones come from - identical units front and rear on 400 & 450 at least.
