Oil pressure - whats normal

As previous posts - currently looking at Cerbs.

What oil pressure should I see in a decent 96-98 4.2 AJP.
The best seems to be 80psi constant hot and cold and the lower I have seen is 60psi at 2500 and 40psi tickover.

I find mins at 65 cold and 60 hot on idle. Not really seen how high it goes up when its being revved.

I use 5W50 fully synth oil.

mine runs around 65PSI at 4000 RPM warm and around 35-45 at idle depending on how hot the oil is. It has to be really stinking hot to get down to the lower number.
I have never looked at what it is at more than 4000, too busy clinging the wheel and Sh99ing myself.

97 4.2 65-70 when cold around 60 when warm on the motorway and around 35-40 when hot in traffic at idle.. I think these are all pretty normal..

50 when cold, 40 when hot. the real time to worry would be if I saw the oil pressure drop while accellerating, thats when something's about to go bang, according to one of the best sources out there , who Ive quizzed as best I can about what to read into the meanings of oil pressure readings.
