Has anyone ever bought a reconditioned vanos from Dr vanos?

The vanos on my M3 is not right and these rebuilt units are $350 rather than £1500. but i'm not sure if there any good so has anyone used one?

Do they do double Vanos now, then?

Yes, they've recently started doing them

Think I'm going to give it a go as the cars not worth much more than the £2k that BMW want for a new vanos

Let us know what their service and total ££ is like.

I guess the only issue is removal and refit which may not suit everyone.
