New venues for Public Hangings

Trafalgar Square in London would be an excellent new venue for public Hangings.
It's a good space, we don't need the column or the lions or the ponds anymore, and office workers in the high buildings in the surrounding areas could watch the goings on without having to leave their desk.

Here's my idea:
Stadia around the country are used on Sundays to stage the "10-1 Bungee Jump"
The worst 10 public servants (lost a laptop on a train, let some kid get beaten to death, forgot to collect your bin, etc) are taken to the local stadium every week. They are all fitted with bungee ropes and taken up a 20-30 foot scaffold. Now here comes the fun bit... 9 of the ropes are short enough, one is 5 foot too long.... but nobody knows which one.
They all jump... nine st themselves... one gets a bit dented.

So steps (geddit) like this are probably on the cards. Child murderers and nonces will be spared the noose though as there are too many analytical fluffy bunny careers reliant upon these people remaining alive....see ?
No...... the modern day hangman would have his hands full with those that would oppose current party politics.

Favourite subject,death is definetly to good for them ,so why waste this opportunity to help them become a useful memeber of society on their way out.

I have to say, I find it incredibly sad that there are so many decent people out there (and on here) with some excellent ideas that will never see the light of day.
I agree, but even if the prospects of success seem small, I think we should keep pushing for what we believe is right.....otherwise we have no chance.
Sometimes it does have an effect, and things improve a bit.
