Hi all,
I have replace an alternator on a Peugeot 206 1.1 (2001), I can't see where the belt tensioner is. There is the external crank drive pully, PAS pully, alternator pully and an idler pully... and that's it! I'm thinking it has something to do with the idler pully, but it is not obvious how this adjusts the tension of the belt.
Any help greatly appreciated.
Thanks - Craig

From memory, could be wrong but I think it's a spring loaded tensioner where you put a spanner on the tensioner centre bolt and turn it to move it back while fitting the belt then just release it.
