Is my helmet to big?!

Just received my new Helmet through the post and am worried it may be a little to big.

It fits quite comfortably but I can push my finger up between the helmet and my cheek. I can also remove the helmet with one hand.

There's some sideways movement to.

Should I go for a size smaller?

The "trick" is to put the helmet on, do up the chin strap, then try and take the helmet off by "rolling" it forward from the back. If you can get it off, it's too big.

put it on and shake ya head. Does it wobble about or not? if so too big. It should be snug.

If you can, go to a dealer/show and try them on.

It should be snug but it shouldn't give you a headache or hurt. It should be noted that different brands and styles change slighty so for example a 58 may be ok in one brand and be painful in another.

I've tried this and can roll it forward fairly easily but can' get it completely off as thin chin bar hits my neck.

Remember that all helmets settle too (this means that it will get looser).
