Doubled my annual mileage in just 20 minutes!!!
Discussion
Just took the Griff for an MOT yesterday and found that, embarrassingly, it's only done 11 miles in the last 12mths!!!
Anyway I thought, to hell with the fuel prices, and went out for a massive 23mile blast
I think it must qualify for the least used, roadworthy, car ever!!
(In my defence, I have been working away for most of the year though)

What's wrong with #3 in the classified - looks a lovely car and a bargain at £21500?Maybe next year then Dave
. Spooky how No 3 has just been up for sale again as well
Good luck this time

Could there be a reason it's for sale again (or was) ? Is it sold or just off the market again ? Was well priced first time around and didn't sell mack on 21st Nov 2007 said:

eta, nearly arranged a trip to belgium to look at it when I bought mine but never made the trip, seems like a cheap car though if it's as good as the photo's look. Wondered why is wasn't picked up by a dealer at that price at the time ??

I am moving, and as I can't bear to sell my Griff its going into storage. I reckon I'll be beating that.. probably do 0 miles in the next 3-4 years!!!
I will REALLY miss driving my Griff!!!!
Would that be SE no.84 previously 'The Toothpaste Griff' by any chance ?? just going on the pic in your profile ? I will REALLY miss driving my Griff!!!!
Simon.
Look chaps, I know these SEs were better built & set up than the trad 500s, but for God's sake, THEY NEED TO BE DRIVEN!!!
Mine (no 57) had done 18,000 in 5 years when I bought it, and there were all sorts of issues like hesitation and lack of response at 3,000 revs etc.
All sorted with a bit of TLC from my garage and driving it like it was intended. 7k miles per year later and it feels better than ever.

Is 2800 miles in 2 months acceptable ? Mine (no 57) had done 18,000 in 5 years when I bought it, and there were all sorts of issues like hesitation and lack of response at 3,000 revs etc.

My problem is driving it too much
