Just bought a set c/w shafts and posts.

Anyone got any info on pushrods and suppliers?

Rumour has it that Ford x-flow ones fit, but which ones and is it a straight fit or are other mods required?

Need a new cam anyway, so that's something else to look into.

Why do you need to experiment with alternate push rods..

Any one like John Eales, V8 developments .. or a lot of other TVR suppliers will supply them. They might even suggest shorter rods because of the group A rockers..

Leigh,

Haven't got them in my sweaty little hands yet, so I don't know what the condition the bushes are in.

Rev,

I only asked as the push rods are not the same as standard ones in that they have a cup at the rocker end rather than a ball.

I shall be enquiring with all the suppliers. Just wondered which one to start with.

JE makes forged steel rocker arms with a ball on it .. and makes matching modular rods with can be tailor made for length.

Give him a call - as it sounds like what you need.

Rev,

Spoke to him this arvo and this can be done, he just needs some measurements for the post heights etc. Then it's £15 a pop plus VAT plus P&P. Kerching! That'll do nicely sir. If it gets me going again I'll be happy.

Probably worth checking what you have bought is actually is good condition before you shell out.
