Now that is a proper sledge. I have two of them in my garage, and a few of those plastic tea tray things. We buy the tea things every year to replace last years ones. The Davos type sledges are old, one of them I've had since I was at Glenalmond, 35 years ago.

I had a catalougue from boystoys.co.uk, or something similar, but it was an inflatable sledge which had metal runners on the bottom, looked really good.

Allways used fertilizer bags easier to carry to and from the hill and back up it, usually the fastest thing there. Only problem were frozen mole hills.
The odd tree stump caused problems as well.
