What format and resolution would you be after?

The pictures are all edited manually so adding a new format would be a little bit of extra work each week, but would would be prepared to do it if there is enough demand for a specific size.

Are you sure about that matt? Your phone uses a 2000 plus pixel wide background image?!?!

Perhaps that's just what your phones takes photographs at. Because if that's the case, you can just manually change the images that are already loaded on PH each week.

Its a Nokia N95, and that is the spec of the current background smile

Does it not compress the picture to put it as your background?

If that's the case, you're asking for a picture BIGGER than the supersize picture already up that looks great on a 24" LCD monitor confused, but for a phone?!

I don't disbeleive you I'm just very surprised!

N95 is 320x240 for the background image.

I think it must compress it in that case, I'm somewhat of technophobe , I'm not 100% sure what goes on in my phone, but I know it does more than make phone calls biggrin

Which bits do they leave blank?

you could always download the supersize one and then crop/resize it to fit

Its too small, so it leaves a blank round the edge particularly top and bottom. #its like it is overcompensating!

I'm really not sure then, all I can suggest is that you grab the supersize one and have a go resizing/cropping it. With a little bit of playing I'm sure you can make it fit!

I've just had a play and the Nokia does some strange re-sizing as it has a section at the top and bottom that aren't used by whatever wallpaper you choose (it shows the background of the theme you've chosen - I suspect it does this so that text remains legible).

I've custom cropped a pic from pic of the week for the correct scale for the N95#s viewable wallpaper area.

Save to desktop and copy to phone, select 'Set as wallpaper'. Job done.
