Just an idea,

Given the amount of illiterate chavs posting rubbish on P.H (e.g. hydraulics for a Vectra) is it not possible to implement a spell checker that won't let you post unless a certain percentage of the post is spelled correctly? no?

Even that's shocking, Jim. Repeating a grammatical mistake like using the 2nd person where the 3rd person is more appropriate...tch...;)

Anyway, I would suspect parsing for spelling mistakes would a) be too process intensive for the hamsters and b) subject to all manner of variations due to "furrin" spellings.

A spell checker is hard to implement and would not be reliable in picking up 'the wrong sort' anyway.

You guys do a very good job of chasing them off with their tails between their legs, but if you ever need backup then just hit the report button and the mods will have a word with them to see if PH is really the right site for them.
