I'd be interested in any opinions, having just traded my Griffith for what I thought was a pretty low price. Having recently had a baby daughter, I needed to but a car with four seats!

Over the five years that I have owned the car I have accumulated a number of extras and spares etc. and I don't feel particularly keen on giving these to the car dealer that I traded my car with as I feel like I have been ripped off enough already! Unfortunately as I live in Guernsey, I didn't really have the luxury of selling my car on Piston Heads as it would not have been available in the UK for inspection and test driving.

I have a Leven Technology Boot Box and Hood Cover, and box of touring spares as recommended in the Steve Heath Bible (not to mention a copy of the bible itself). These include a serpentine fan belt, otter switch, throttle cable, bulbs and various fuses.

Does anybody think that there is a market for such items, or am I better off just leaving all of this gear in the boot?

Thaks very much for any advice you can give.

Jim

Just sold my Griff and just also sold the Leven hood cover separate to the car. For your info, got £75 for the cover

I'd be interested in both the Leven boot box and the touring spares, if they don't cost too much to ship. Alternatively I would be happy to wait if you come to the mainland ever.
PM me a price, if you like...

No, he might be in Caen, but not Canaan.

That’s the kind of minor navigational error I expect from the wife, not a Tiver.

Thanks very much for all your feedback folks. I have had emails directly from a couple of guys and have agreed to let them have the hood cover and boot box outside of this forum as I don't believe I am supposed to use it for "commercial gain"! All I was really expecting was a steer as to whether it was worth putting these items on ebay, but I appreciate your offers.

Having just bought a two year old M3, I'm wondering if there will be a BMW website with the same cameraderie! We shall see!

Cheers

And if you'd advertised them in PH Classifieds you could have had some money and felt morally assuaged!

I was referring to the French female noun "elle", as everybody knows Griffs are male, hence the French "Il" to correct the sentence. But I like the lateral thinking. smile
