SC Belts

Just replaced the rear SC belt, took me 2 hours mind but its the first time Ive done it, next time I recon on under an hour easy. Id suggest anyone handy with a wrench has a go themselves as god knows how VX can charge you £400 to do it... gotta remove the charger sir.... Bo**ocks!

Now if only someone would make a HD front tensioner!

Really wish I'd read this a few weeks ago when mine went. Did you have any sort of maintenance manual, or was it as easy as un-bolting things as you found them?

Its as easy as unbolting things as you find them so long as you use some common sence. Did you have yrs done at VX then?

I did, much to the dismay of my wallet. It was coming up to a service interval as well, so the whole lot was done to the tune of just under £600. Bad times.

I wont add salt to the wound and say the belts available for £18 either then...
