After getting fed up with the jokers when trying to sell my 308 gt, I have decided to bring her up to a bit higher standard as I`m going to use her for my main summer car next year along with the early midget and will be doing around 6k miles in her. This is what I`m going to do....

Ignition. Would benifit from new plug leads and caps, new disi cap and a new rotor arm. Decided to dump the lot and replace with one of these... http://www.superformance.co.uk/a-308/ignition.htm . Has any body got one ? and are they any good ?

Brakes. rebuilt the callipers last year and replaced the pads but have never been realy happy with the brakes, Has any body tried the uprated front brake system from Superformance ?

Exhaust. One of my engine mounts has gone and has caused a fracture in the front exhaust manifold. Didnt notice untill it needed welding up for the 2nd time. So I think its time for 2 new manifolds (the front ones have been welded in the past) and a new silencer. Tubi ? larini ? Ansa ? who makes the best set up ?

I will then hopefully have a realy usable 308 to thrash around in for summer, Le Mans here we come.

Larini silencers and Manifolds are great value and sound great too!, I personally do not think you will get any noticable better performance for fitting sports leads over the OEM ones, personally if you are thinking of selling I would suggest you stay original where possible.
