Hi Kieran. Made the move from Hampshire/Berkshire border up this way 12 years ago and never looked back!

The Drig meet is a good starting point - they get really popular in the summer when there's more light and it aint so cold!

What do you drive? I'm near Ferrybridge but have a mate in Ossett, so may see you about.

Welcome!

I work just outside Normanton, over on the Heath (looks like you might almost pass me on your way into work if you go the back way into Normanton). I pop into Normie for lunch now and again too...

As others have said, plenty of meets around, the one over at Drig is meant to be pretty good smile

I'll give you a wave if I see a goldsh Astra Coupe wink

I drive the car in the old profile, just a Peugeot 306 in that metallic light blue colour. Nothing too fancy until I can save enough pennies for something a bit silly. Still not sure on VX/Elise or maybe a Z4/S2000 kinda car (probably the latter as I remember how bloody cold UK winters are biggrin )

Yeah, we are over at the Kings Arms fairly often... it's changed owners/chefs/decor so much in the last three years though. I think I probably used to be there for pie and pint once or twice a week in summer, but now they have moved to a lesser pie, and the selection of ales has changed a bit... so I go a fair bit less smile

You might have seen me about then... nice roads for driving once you get out of the little villages in and around here... smile
