Big off on the M1 (Sheffield) yesterday. Slapped into central barrier. Car a total write off. Lucky to walk away from it.

Bit of whip lash and hurt shoulder and back.

Thanks for phone calls and support from Pistonheaders at Barnsley meet.

Ringing the Insuance people this morning!

Absolutely gutted mate, just glad you're in one piece!

Saw her on the northbound carriageway just as M44TNH and myself had pulled up at the scene frown

Any help you need mate, you have my number

Hi mate, glad you are ok, i am sure you will be a little stiff this morning.

Saw the whole thing (I am the guy in the golf) and must say, did not expect you to get up and walk out of that one so quick! Hope you managed to gather up all of your belongings and hope the insurance company do not mess you about.

yikes

Glad you're alright mate, that can't have been much fun. What happened? On second thoughts, you might not want to discuss it on here just yet.

Not sure what happened to be honest.... spun and hit the central barrier.

BiB and Motorway Traffic guys were very supportive. A heartfelt big thanks to them! They said they had 26 accidents in 3 short hours on that bit of the M1 and up the road on the M62. Black ice I think. They mentioned that some woman had spun a Subaru just up the road into on coming traffic! She was lucky also.

Thanks for your help Bootlace. Much appreciated. Got most but not all possessions, some must have gone flying when the roof came off!

Sorry to hear about the Tuscan. Glad you're ok though. Sounded great when you pulled away. You going to get another if its written off? And use the same exhausts?

I would like one, but my Wife is not keen on the idea. She came to pick me up and got to see the car unfortunately! Plenty of work to be done I think before I take the plunge again.

Glad you are ok,

After seeing some of the CD's scattered about, some of the losses may not be a bad thing.

I think my Mrs was more shocked than you were, cost me a pair of shoes to convince her fast cars are still safe and that I am allowed to take out my Box in the cold.

Most importantly you are OK mate and hope the bruises and aches subside quickly!
The car is just a car and can be replaced (hopefully with another Tuscan of course!)
We were out in North Yorkshire on Saturday and there was plenty of snow and ice around up there. We saw a few people who hadn't got through the conditions quite as safely as us!
Stay safe out there!

Glad you're okay Simon!

Such a sorry sight to see your Tuscan like that. Hopefully you will be out and about in something equally as good as soon as you can!

Sorry to hear that the Tuscan's dead, she definitely was a fine-sounding beast, hope you're okay and can get something nice again soon.

Sorry to hear about the accident , but the main thing is your OK, looking at those pictures I`d stay well clear of TVR`s

Sorry to see that! At least you can look back at it! Reckon I'll get new rubber on my back wheels sooner than later seeing your pics. Get back on that horse and get another TVR.

Hello matey,

Gald to see and hear your ok, the car is worthing nothing compared to life it`s self!

The main thing is your ok and in one bit!

I was involved in a pretty serious accident in August, car was/is fked, but I`m fine.

Now you`ve got all the crap with the insurance co to deal with...Tread very carefully with them and be patient!

take care and all the best

Thanks Ted & I agree that the main thing is I'm okay. The damage was very bad I have to say, but the Bib were of the opinion that the car saved me serious injury due to the fact the cabin space stayed intact.....therefore I'm looking for a repalcement already!
