Ford sells Mazda

This doesn't make any sense.
If they can sell Mazda it obviously has a value and therefore should be kept.
We know they can't sell Fords so therein lies the problem.
The answer seems to be to keep Mazda and stick Ford badges on them and stick Mazda badges on Fords which should help no end.

Ford don't do anything rational. Aston, Jaguar and Landrover had value (and arguably more brand kudos than Mazda) and they flogged them too! The mind boggles...
