Re connollising
Discussion
Thanks - but seems a bit extreme, the passenger one is fine driver's just has scuff marks. Seats on mine are electric/memory and heated - are they all like this? If not would no doubt make finding a new pair a head ache...
Does your post mean you've tried re connollising and it hasn't worked? Or that it would be cheaper to get different seats?

Leather seats will show the wear after a while. If you go to Jaguar it will cost a fortune to get them done properly. In the end you get what you pay for. Getting Recaros from wrecked car (as NormD has done) would be worth the effort IMHO, but getting th electrics to rework could be an issue.
I have no experience myself, never had a car old enough. But I am working for those who own my cars later in their life, I condition the leather every 6 months and in general cherish my wheels.

True, drivers seat was getting in a bad state, had done close to 150,000 miles though. Wanted Recaro's, but as they say, like hens teeth. Purchased an Insurance write off, took the seats out of that into my car. As T7 said electrics need to be reworks but my man Tom can do that. Also transfered onto my car were the Brembo's, HID headlamps and at the momont the 4.2Lt engine. All other usable parts I have sold on to Club Members to help keep there cars on the road and help out with the purchase costs.
I still have some odd parts available if anyone out there needs some bits.
