Dubai Duty Free

Just looking for peoples experience here......been looking for a Rolex Submariner (new not used) and will be passing through Dubai airport next week (the new Termainal 3) and I wanted to know what sort of deals could be had on a Rolex Submariner (model 16610). Or is it not worth it and better to look in the duty free at LHR (T3)??

Any advice welcome

I have always found that (never been through Dubai) airports only have a limited stock of watches and that its best to just see if they have something you like rather hope to find something specific , if you see what i mean ? Or just phone them up and ask if they have one and how much .

I went through LHR T3 3 weeks ago and the Rolex dealer didnt have any subs or sea dwellers in stock.

Thanks for the advice. I phoned the dealer at LHR and they confirmed that their stock changes all the time, so I guess its just a case of turn up and see on the day.

why dont you find who owns duty free...it will be someone like watches of switzerland or other major retailer...order your watch and collect on departure...they will hapily oblige...
