Hi,

Anyone know of a 'drive' where you just 'play' on an
disused air field or open space...maybe a bit of
tuition aswell.

Surrey/Berks/Hants Area..

TIA, gt....

I've been wondering this too, not so much as track time, just a big open space to find the limits easier?

Take a look at carlimits.com. Andy will instruct you on an airfield in your own car.

I just booked up the 1 day ride-drive which includes
skid pan and car limits around a track.

+1 for carlimits.com
I went on one of Andy's days a while back, and it was a fantastic experience. Would recommend it to anyone.

Andy Walsh is Welsh and I'm sure he does something similar on a track near Cardiff, look at his website.

Ride Drive do a full day's on-road tuition which can include an hour on-track. All instructors are current or past police class one (or whatever it's called) licence-holders and the company can arrange tuition around the country, picking the nearest instructor to you.

The cost when I did mine in July '08 was £285 + VAT - got a 25% discount from Adrian Flux too.

Cheers,
