Whats the best sterring wheel/pedal/shifter setup available for a 360??

i really want one with everything, as i do enjoy my racing games, but dislike the controller for them.

something with force feedback, and three pedals. would be nice. only issue i can see is the nuber of gears, unless its crappy paddle. which i dislike.

Thanks in advnace

here you gosmile

911 turbo s PURE EDITION
Wheel only 180EURO. good value if you already own a G25 as you can use the gear selector and pedals from that wheel a save a fortune.

911 turbo s
wheel, 6+1gearbox and pedals including clutch 310EURO

911 turbo s clubsport
same as above but with better materials used e.g. pedals are metal 460EURO

Not cheep but with the 360 there isn't much else.

By the way the G25 will not work with the XBOX and probably never will, something to do with the way the force feed back and vibration signals are used

Thats a bitch, the only reason its sooo expensive is because its porsche.

Muh, i'll wait till some taiwanese company brings out the porcshe (deliberate typo) version and sell it for ten pence and a cupcake

(which will probably never happen)

These steering wheels...

Can you use them without a desk? I sit on a beanbag sort of thing... does that rule out steering wheel use?

I tried it once or twice and it was almost unplayable, 100 times better stuck to a rigid surface, otherwise it's like trying to wrestle a bucking bronco between your legs.

Are you spying on me? Where are you?

Er...

yeah, anyway - as suspected. Probably a waste of money for sitting down play.

Maybe someone should invent a steering wheel that can be clamped to your thighs? biggrin

There was a whole racing seat set up on eGay a short while ago with a starting bid of £20. For some reason it dissapeared very quickly!
I too am interested in what wheel works well on the 360. It could really revolutionise my Forza 2 experience. Which would be amazing, 'cause its already a great game.

I just can't get on with the wheel – I'm a good second per lap slower with it. It wasn't until last weekend when I played on a fixed sturdy setup that I realised why. What a difference! If you don't have it clamped tight then I'd suggest your better off with the controller.

I think its quicker on a lap of Forza with the hand controler, opposite lock can be achieved alot quicker, but the steering wheel makes the game more authentic, involving and enjoyable.
I think the wireless mircosoft one is ok, i too would love the Porsche one, gave the hint to the wife for Christmas and the look she gave me indicated it was not going to happpen frown

Im pretty sure that the only wheel compatible with the 360 is the Official one and i know for definite that Forza only supports the official wheel and forza is the only game worth having a wheel for on 360.

Also, i own a G25 /smug.

Does anyone else use the speedfreek add on for the MS controller?
http://www.kontrolfreek.com/newsite/index.php?page...

It's just a thumbguide that clips onto the left stick, but it's really helped my laptimes, especially on keeping my lines on longer sweeping curves.
I can't remember what I paid for them, I think I got a 2 pack shipped from the US for less than £10. Definitely cheaper than a wheel and pedal combo!
