What happened to the "Free Lights" thread?
Discussion
Hi chaps
I have asked this company to work with us through the usual channels, so through editorial as opposed to posting themselves. If we allow that, then thousands of companies would do the same and the forums would become one big advert.
I have a copy of those that posted replies, so don't worry if you have already expressed an interest

OK, furry muff. Thanks for the explanation.
Is there some way that such feedback could be communicated, rather than the thread just disappearing and leaving a black hole? Perhaps it could disappear from the forum, but everyone who posted on it has a link in their "My Stuff", and this link could take you to a brief explanation of why the offending thread was removed?
Just a suggestion ... please ignore it if it is a naff (or very difficult!) one.
Oli.

The OP can receive a message if the mod feels like leaving them one. I think it's a good courtesy - and saves the 'why was my thread deleted?'-type posts afterwards!Simpo Two said:
