Does the term 'rape' mean that as soon as you have intercourse it is classed as rape, or could he have had more than one go at a time?

After re-reading this it doesn't read well. What I meant to say is a sustained attack involving numerous acts over a period of time still classed as one rape, therefore perhaps he had intercourse many more times than 25?

Poor daughters, and their offspring too. I read a bit in the BBC report that said doctors advised the women to stop having children by the same father. I can only assume that this was because the existing children had birth defects and/or disabilities.

This was on the 6 o'clock news and it was reported he had 'refused' to go to court for sentencing.

Refused? Well force the feckwit. Why does he have a choice in the matter given the nature of his offences.

Beat him to court, if that is what it takes!

Doc's would have had good 'suspicion' the defects of the offspring had been by the result of the daughter's father being also the father of the offspring, especially if some did not survive.

Horrific for the daughters, forced to sustain a life of such privation and bear children who many died.
Heartbreaking but they are now mercifully free.
