can anyone give me advice on the best option on replacing my clutch.
the slave cylinder is leaking and it struggles to get in gear and when you press clutch it makes a greating sound.
I have looked on clever trevor at the replacement clutch and slave cylinder they have at £800.00ish.Is this my best option or does anybody have any other ideas of type of clutch to put in as i want it to last more than 20k miles

will it all need replacing or can it be done cheaper

Mine was in the same boat, being done at RG and using my AA warranty for some of the work. The last clutch was done by them and lasted 24k and is still ok, just the slave had started leaking, but has been leaking 8k now before finally going, so if you can live with it, wait till it goes completly..

If I were you I'd take it to the garage with the intention of replacing the clutch and slave cylinder (happened to me), one the gearbox is off they can check the clutch and replace the slave cylinder, if the clutch is ok, no need to relace it and just re-fit it, Bonus! if the clutch is warn too far, replace that too. no good waiting until it completely goes may as well call AA out and get them to take it there while you can "just" drive it onto the truck. They'll still come out as the car is unusable.
