TomTom One - Favourites questions...

Hi - delighted with my new TomTom One - especially the mount - great for moving between cars.

I regularly update the maps using the TomTom Home 2 software, but each time I do, I lose all my favourites.

Is there an easy way to prevent this, or is there a file I can save/copy back after the update process?
