For the last few days, Pistonheads keeps killing my browser. ( I think that's what It's called )

SCreen freezes and then goes blank bar a line at the top.

Any ideas?

We are not aware of any problems here, how often is it happening?

Puzzling, I'll have a chat with Pete and see if he can suggest anything.

Only on the page that I have PH open on. I can do nothing with that page for about 5 minutes. If I open another page, all is well and good.

Is this on a specific page on PH or in a specific area on PH? I would think that some element of the ads on the page could cause this behaviour and shut down the browser, but it could be some javascript causing an error.

Though I would expect this to happen on other sites too, unless the cookie is causing the delay, so might be worth deleting that and logging in again.

Not on ads but my contributions page from memory

If it is on My Stuff (or the equivalent name in the other skins) then it could still be a rogue commercial ad in the banner that is causing the problem, if it happens again can you see if an advert comes up in the top right first, as I would point my finger at that first.

I saw it on FF3 a couple of days ago, right when the thread was starting to load. it appeared to hang on an external call, 2mdn.net in the status bar, but I can't be sure that was the one that caused it.

But I can't replicate it in ff2 here.
