When so many of our lads and lasses are severely injured following a stint in the oil war and effectively ignored, how wrong is this ?

I still don't understand how her sexuality is of any relevance? Surely this was simple sexual harassment? Can't help but think the gay bit keeps getting added for extra impact.

No, the injuries compensation is appalling, but that's not the fault of this particular soldier. None of us knows the details of the case, so I suggest that unless someone here has close knowledge of the case, it would be better to concentrate on criticising the governments appalling injury compensations policy, and appalling equipment levels of the soldiers.

The other fact is that I doubt the claimant actually requested the sum of £190k. I suspect that was calculated by the legal system, so why not blame the legal system.

I think the problem here is people with attitudes similar to the OP's.

Why he feels it neccessary to insult her (with the term "Dyke") based on her preferred choice of partner, I'll never know.
The same attitudes are likely to be held by the type that harrassed her in her job, wanting to "cure her".
