I am hardly using the car at the moment and am concerned that the battery may need the odd run to keep it topped up. Does anyone use anything other than taking the car on a short run?

I used a charger/conditioner when I was leaving mine in the garage for a month at a time - was about £35 from costco, can't remember make and model

IMO you're much better off taking your car for a reasonable blast now and again. Has to be better for the car overall.

This is the tool of choice for Bikes:- www.accumate.co.uk/it010003.htm

You can use them on cars without problem, but I'm sure there must be similar products out there that are car specific..

We used to keep the Porsche on trickle charge all of the time. Still didn't stop the brakes corroding. Result disc's and pads all round £4,000
