After a false start last year, my car has had her last run today for a little while and at the weekend will be going up onto axle stands and the rear clam will be coming off.
I'll then be stripping and refurbing the suspension and then fitting a head which I'll be sending to Kiwirog (Sabre Heads) for porting and finally a 4-2-1. The car's also getting a PRT and oil cooler.
If there's enough money left I may add some cams and an ECU upgrade to the engine.
I've had the car three years this week. We've done 33k miles (taking the total to 71k) and she's never let me down. I never thought I'd be playing with the insides of a car again but this little car has rekindled an enthusiasm I had lost.
