Discovery - road tax

I've been looking at a few ads for 2000-2002 td5 discoveries and wondered what the current (and future) state of play is for these in terms of road fund license. Can anyone point me to or provide a summary by any chance?

As the owner of a 2002 Disco Td5, I very interested in this question, too. And I think the answer is ... shedloads. I understand the Chancellor has fiddled with the rates yet again, so I can't give you a definitive answer, other than "about £400".

look on dvla website all explained on there but rates now stay pretty unchanged for vehicles before 2006
